Event Description

Jan 17,2018

Mario is going to guide you through a recording session he engineered and mixed with a live orchestra. This orchestra features a woodwind ensamble with instruments like the flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon and french horn. You will get to know these instruments deeper, and get a good idea of how to get great recordings from them. This includes how to position a band, and how to place microphones correctly. He will then show you his approach to mixing for this particular music style. After watching this class, you will understand how professionals approach these kinds of recordings and what to look out for to make sure the job is done correctly.
