Jose Dabdoub demonstrates a mix where the main focus is guitars. He discusses techniques for eq, compression, combining amps and doubling. He goes through every instrument and the approaches he uses to make everything work together. He also demonstrates simple editing techniques to tighten up a performance, parallel compression on drums and acoustic guitars, multi-band compression on bass and many other useful techniques such as setting up side chain compressors as a creative decision during a guitar solo.
