In this Mix Deconstruction, Gustavo Giardelli, a session drummer and sound engineer will show you a step by step process to make space for all the instruments when working with big and packed sessions. By adding effects and processing them, boosting high frequencies in some instruments and cutting on others, you will be able to see all it took to create this mix.
Where can you apply what you will see?
In your own studio and with the tools you already have. You don't need the same plugins or the same DAW. The techniques you will see will help you to understand WHY and HOW so you can apply them later with your own tools.
We'll provide you with the multitrack files to download, practice mix and make your portfolio so you can show them to your future clients.
