Christian Cummings began his career playing gigs in Hollywood as a teenager, and quickly grew into a veteran touring musician by his early 20s. After obtaining his BA in Communication/New Media, Christian pursued a career in music production, cutting hundreds of projects to both analog tape and earlier Pro Tools systems, as well as holding positions in studio management and artist development. Christian teamed up with San Diego recording studio Signature Sound (U2, Blink-182, Switchfoot, The Used), and soon thereafter assisted in a redesign of the A Room console, replacing the aging API Legacy with a custom-designed hybrid API console/work-surface. Since then, the room has hosted recording sessions for names such as Rob Halford (Judas Priest, Halford), Ace Frehley, Producer Mark Endert (Madonna, Fiona Apple, Maroon 5), Ma$e, Florence + The Machine, As I Lay Dying, Awolnation, Nico and Vinz, and even George Takei.

As a musician, Christian's shared the stage with everyone from the Foo Fighters to Snoop Dogg. In 2007, Christian toured as the drummer for Ken Andrews of the famed alt-rock band Failure (who’s musicians have gone on to become members of A Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, Autolux and Nine Inch Nails). Christian is featured on the live album cut during that tour, titled "the Secrets Of The Lost Satellite tour." Other previous band projects include Tailgunner, First Wave Hello, and The Feeling's Mutual While much of his time is spent on the west coast, Christian writes, produces, engineers and mixes records for artists all over the world. If his schedule permits, Christian also enjoys the occasional teaching opportunity; He has taught at The Art Institute of California, San Diego, several online lectures, and, more recently lead a discussion on modern mixing at the Live At Heart conference & festival in Sweden.

Select recent clients include: Tiësto/Icona Pop, Izabella Summers/Florence + The Machine (Chris Brown Remix), Brent Kutzle (One Republic), Vazquez Sounds, Dead Feather Moon, Helen Earth Band, Sony Music, Universal, Discovery/Food Networks.
